With capillary micropigmentation we simulate the effect of growing hair, creating an optical illusion of hair between 0.1 mm and 0.5 mm long. If the hair around the balding area is longer than this, the micropigmentation effect will not achieve the appearance desired because the treated area will look different than the non-balding area.

The close-cropped effect can be done in balding clients within stage 1 and 8 of the Norwood scale, and the capillary micropigmentation specialist will advise the client on how to modify his hairstyle to better suit the treatment.
